Children’s Language

Children's language development is a gradual process through which they learn to understand and use spoken and written language. It typically begins with babbling and progresses to single words, simple sentences, and complex speech. Influenced by their environment, interactions, and innate abilities, children learn vocabulary, grammar, and social communication skills. The key stages include the pre-linguistic stage (cooing and babbling), single-word stage, two-word stage, and multi-word stage, each building upon the last. This progression enables them to express thoughts and feelings, engage with others, and ultimately navigate the world around them effectively.
