Chest Radiograph

A chest radiograph, commonly called a chest X-ray, is an imaging test that uses a small amount of radiation to produce pictures of the inside of your chest. It allows doctors to see the lungs, heart, ribs, and other structures, helping to diagnose conditions like infections, pneumonia, fractures, or heart problems. The procedure is quick, non-invasive, and typically painless. During the X-ray, you stand or sit in front of a special camera that captures the images, which are then reviewed by a radiologist to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
