Chemotherapy sensitization

Chemotherapy sensitization involves using agents or strategies to enhance the effectiveness of chemotherapy drugs against cancer cells. By making cancer cells more vulnerable, sensitization increases the likelihood that chemotherapy will successfully destroy them. This can work by disrupting the cancer cells’ defenses, such as repairing mechanisms or survival pathways, or by modifying the tumor environment.
