Chartreuse

Chartreuse is a vibrant, luminous green or yellow liqueur that originates from France. Made by Carthusian monks since the 18th century, it combines a secret blend of herbs, plants, and spices, resulting in a complex flavor profile with herbal, spicy, and sweet notes. The name comes from the Chartreuse Mountains where the monks created it. The green version is more common and slightly sharper, while the yellow is milder and sweeter.
