
Charles Adams
Charles Adams (1917–2008) was an American artist and cartoonist best known for his dark humor and satire. He was the son of the 19th-century president John Adams and the grandson of John Quincy Adams. Adams created the famous cartoon series "Abbie an’ Slats" and is renowned for his illustrations featuring quirky, macabre, and often humorous depictions of American life and history.
