Chaos game representation

The Chaos Game Representation (CGR) is a method for visualizing sequences, such as DNA, by mapping characters to points in a geometric space—often a square. Starting from a point, you randomly select a symbol in the sequence, then move halfway toward the corner associated with that symbol, plotting the new position. Repeating this process creates a complex, fractal-like image that reveals patterns, repetitions, and structures within the sequence. It’s a powerful way to convert sequential data into a visual form that highlights intrinsic relationships and features.
