Channel Ports
Channel ports are specific entry points on a computer or network device that facilitate communication between different software applications or systems. Think of them as digital docking stations that allow data to flow in and out securely and efficiently, often linked to particular services or processes. Each port is assigned a number, helping identify the type of traffic, such as web browsing (port 80) or email (port 25). They ensure data is directed correctly, enabling seamless and organized network interactions.
