Chan Heung was a Chinese martial artist born in 1806 who founded the modern practice of Wang Kwon, also known as Choy Li Fut, a comprehensive martial arts style combining techniques from Northern and Southern Chinese boxing. He is considered one of the key figures in popularizing traditional Chinese martial arts in the 19th century, emphasizing both physical skill and moral development.
