Chag
Chag refers to Jewish religious festivals, known as "holidays" or "feasts," that commemorate significant historical and spiritual events. These festivals are often marked by special prayers, rituals, and festive meals. Examples include Passover (Pesach), celebrating the Exodus from Egypt; Shavuot, marking the giving of the Torah; and Sukkot, commemorating the Israelites' time in the wilderness. Each Chag has its own customs, symbolic foods, and traditions, serving to reinforce faith, community, and cultural heritage in Jewish life.
