CERT Training

CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) training is a program that prepares volunteers to assist their communities during emergencies such as natural disasters or accidents. It teaches basic skills like fire safety, medical aid, search and rescue, and how to assess hazards. The goal is to enable trained citizens to respond effectively, support emergency services, and help maintain safety until professional responders arrive. By participating, individuals gain knowledge and confidence to act responsibly during crises, strengthening community resilience and ensuring a coordinated response in challenging situations.
