CEMAC (Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa)

CEMAC, or the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa, is a group of six Central African countries—Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, and Gabon—working together to promote economic integration and stability. They share a common currency, the Central African CFA franc, which is pegged to the Euro, helping to facilitate trade and financial cooperation. CEMAC aims to boost economic growth, improve infrastructure, and strengthen financial systems within the region, fostering development and stability through coordinated policies and shared resources.
