Cayuga Tribe

The Cayuga Tribe is one of the six nations of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, also known as the Iroquois Confederacy. Originating from the northeastern region of North America, they have a rich history of governance, culture, and tradition centered around consensus and community values. Historically, they were powerful warriors and wise diplomats. Today, many Cayuga people continue to preserve their language, culture, and sovereignty through tribal governments, cultural practices, and efforts to maintain their identity within modern society.
