Causal Layered Analysis (CLA) is a method used to explore and understand complex issues by examining them on four different levels: the surface facts, the underlying social and cultural drivers, the deeper worldviews and beliefs, and the overarching myths or paradigms. This approach helps reveal hidden assumptions and deeper meanings behind problems, enabling better-informed solutions. In essence, CLA digs beneath the obvious to uncover the root causes and broader context, fostering a more comprehensive understanding of why issues exist and how they can be addressed effectively.
