Cassini Orbiter
The Cassini Orbiter was a NASA spacecraft that studied Saturn and its moons from 2004 to 2017. It traveled to the Saturn system, entering orbit around the planet to collect detailed data on its atmosphere, rings, magnetic field, and moons, especially Titan and Enceladus. Equipped with advanced instruments, Cassini provided insights into the planet's complex system, including discovering water-ice plumes and signs of possible life-supporting conditions. Its mission greatly expanded our understanding of Saturn, its environment, and the potential habitability of its moons, paving the way for future explorations of icy worlds in our solar system.
