Cassegrain telescope

A Cassegrain telescope is a type of reflecting telescope that uses two mirrors to gather and focus light. The primary mirror, which is curved, collects light and reflects it to a smaller, secondary mirror located near the top of the tube. The secondary mirror redirects the light through a hole in the primary mirror to an eyepiece or camera. This design allows for a compact telescope with a long focal length, making it excellent for detailed astronomical observations while maintaining a manageable size, suitable for both amateur and professional astronomers.
