CASEL Collaborating Districts Initiative

The CASEL Collaborating Districts Initiative (CDI) is a program aimed at enhancing social and emotional learning (SEL) in school districts across the United States. CASEL, the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning, partners with selected districts to implement research-based SEL practices. The initiative focuses on equipping students with essential skills like self-awareness, relationship building, and responsible decision-making. By supporting districts in creating effective SEL systems, the CDI seeks to improve both student well-being and academic outcomes, ultimately fostering healthier school environments and better preparing students for future challenges.
