CASARA

CASARA, or the Civil Air Search and Rescue Association, is a volunteer organization in Canada dedicated to assisting with search and rescue operations. Comprising trained volunteers, primarily pilots and aircraft owners, CASARA provides vital aerial support to help locate missing persons, whether in wilderness areas or during emergencies. They collaborate closely with governmental agencies, such as the Canadian Armed Forces and local search and rescue teams. By using private aircraft and their skills, CASARA plays an important role in enhancing public safety and improving response times in critical situations.
