Cartesian space, also known as Cartesian coordinate space, is a mathematical framework used to specify points in space using numbers. It consists of a grid formed by three perpendicular axes—usually labeled X, Y, and Z—that intersect at a central point called the origin. Each point in this space is identified by three numbers, which indicate its position along each axis. This system allows us to precisely locate and describe objects in three-dimensional space, making it fundamental in fields like engineering, physics, and computer graphics.
