Carrier Wave
A carrier wave is a steady, repeating signal used to carry information, like sound or images, over long distances. Think of it as a musical note or a radio signal that travels through the air or wires. When transmitting data, the information is embedded by changing certain properties of the carrier wave—like its amplitude, frequency, or phase—without stopping the wave itself. This process allows the information to be transmitted efficiently and accurately, with the carrier wave acting as the basic "vehicle" that delivers the message from sender to receiver.
