Caroline of Ansbach

Caroline of Ansbach (1683–1737) was queen consort of Great Britain and Ireland as the wife of King George II. She was known for her intelligence, political influence, and support of arts and education. Born into German nobility, she married George in 1705 and became a key advisor, often shaping royal policy and international relations.
