Cardiff Bay Development Corporation
The Cardiff Bay Development Corporation (CBDC) was established in 1986 to regenerate the waterfront area of Cardiff, Wales. It aimed to transform the former industrial and docklands into a vibrant urban space. The CBDC focused on creating residential, commercial, and recreational developments while improving infrastructure and public amenities. Its efforts led to the creation of new housing, parks, and cultural attractions, significantly revitalizing the area. The CBDC was dissolved in 2000, but its impact remains evident in the thriving community and economy of Cardiff Bay today.
