Cape Kennedy

Cape Kennedy, now known as Kennedy Space Center, is a major launch site located on Florida’s east coast. It has been the primary location for NASA's space missions, including Apollo moon landings and Space Shuttle launches. The site features large rocket launch pads, control centers, and facilities for assembling and testing spacecraft. Its close proximity to the equator provides a strategic advantage for launching spacecraft into orbit. Over time, "Cape Kennedy" was the name used from 1963 to 1973, but today, it is officially called Kennedy Space Center, serving as a hub for space exploration, research, and tourism.
