California Standards Test (CST)
The California Standards Test (CST) was an assessment administered to K-12 students in California to measure their knowledge and skills in relation to state academic standards. These standardized tests covered subjects like English-language arts, math, science, and social science. The CST aimed to evaluate student performance, guide instructional improvement, and ensure accountability in education. Although the CST was used until 2013, it has since been replaced by the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) system, which provides a broader assessment approach.
