Burma (Myanmar)

Burma, officially known as Myanmar, is a country in Southeast Asia bordered by Bangladesh, India, China, Laos, and Thailand. It has a diverse population with many ethnic groups and a rich cultural history. The country gained independence from British rule in 1948.
