Building Bridges Initiative

The Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) is a Kenyan political effort aimed at uniting the country and enhancing governance. Introduced in 2018, it seeks to address issues like ethnic divisions, political exclusion, and economic inequality by proposing constitutional reforms. These reforms include creating positions like a Deputy President for regional diversity, establishing a national peace and reconciliation committee, and expanding representation for marginalized groups. The goal is to foster stability, better governance, and social cohesion, ensuring all Kenyans have a fair stake in the country’s development and political processes.
