Bruce W. Tuckman
Bruce W. Tuckman was an American psychologist best known for his work on team dynamics and development. In 1965, he introduced a model outlining the stages teams typically go through as they form and evolve, known as the "Tuckman stages." These stages are: Forming (getting acquainted), Storming (conflicts arise), Norming (establishing norms and cooperation), and Performing (working effectively). Later, he added a fifth stage, Adjourning, to address the disbanding of teams. Tuckman's framework helps understand and manage team interactions, ultimately improving collaboration and productivity in various settings.
