Broadcast receivers

Broadcast receivers are components in Android that listen for specific system-wide events or messages, known as broadcasts. When an event occurs—like the device charging, Wi-Fi connectivity changing, or an incoming SMS—the broadcast receiver responds by executing certain code. This allows apps to react to changes without user interaction. For instance, an app can notify you of a low battery or automatically update its content when a network connection is restored. Broadcast receivers help apps stay informed about important system events, enhancing their functionality and responsiveness to user needs.
