British Bankers' Association (BBA)

The British Bankers' Association (BBA) was a trade association representing the banking and financial services sector in the UK. Established to promote the interests of banks and financial institutions, the BBA worked on various issues such as regulatory policies, industry standards, and economic research. It also played a key role in fostering communication between banks, policymakers, and the public. In 2016, the BBA merged with several other entities to form UK Finance, which continues to represent the interests of the banking and financial services industry in Britain.
