Each person adds their part—such as a drawing or a sentence—then folds or conceals it before passing it on, ensuring subsequent creators only see a fragment. This process results in unexpected, often surreal, combinations of ideas or images. Originating in the early 20th century Surrealist movement and named after a phrase formed by initial contributors, it encourages spontaneity, collaboration, and the imaginative fusion of differing perspectives.
