Brane theory

Brane theory is a concept in theoretical physics that extends our understanding of the universe beyond traditional ideas of particles and forces. It posits that our universe is a three-dimensional "brane" (short for membrane) embedded in a higher-dimensional space. Just like a sheet of paper can have objects on it while existing in a larger realm, branes can host matter and energy while interacting with other dimensions. This theory helps explain phenomena like gravity and the Big Bang, suggesting that our universe may be just one of many branes in a multi-dimensional universe.
