The Boolean Retrieval Model is a way to search for information using specific keywords and logical operators like AND, OR, and NOT. When you input a query, the model checks documents against your keywords to find matches. For example, using "cats AND dogs" retrieves documents containing both terms, while "cats OR dogs" finds documents with either term. If you use "cats NOT dogs," it shows only documents about cats that don't mention dogs. This model helps narrow down search results to find the most relevant information based on precise criteria.
