Bolman and Deal

Bolman and Deal developed a framework called the Four Frames Model to help understand organizations better. They see organizations through four different perspectives: Structural (how work is organized), Human Resources (people and relationships), Political (power and conflicts), and Symbolic (culture and meaning). By examining an organization from these angles, leaders can identify issues, craft effective strategies, and foster a healthier, more effective environment. This approach emphasizes that organizations are complex and multi-dimensional, requiring different insights to truly understand and improve them.
