Bolívar's military campaigns

Simón Bolívar led a series of bold military campaigns between 1810 and 1825 to free South America from Spanish rule. He mobilized diverse armies across difficult terrains, winning key battles in Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. Bolívar's strategic use of surprise attacks, alliances, and revolutionary ideals motivated local populations. His campaigns culminated in the establishment of independent nations, notably Gran Colombia. Despite challenges like logistical issues and opposition, Bolívar’s leadership was instrumental in uniting the northern South American territories and shaping the continent’s independence movement.
