Bohemian Kingdom

The Bohemian Kingdom, historically known as the Kingdom of Bohemia, was a medieval state located in Central Europe, roughly corresponding to modern-day Czech Republic. It emerged in the 9th century and became a significant political and cultural center under the Holy Roman Empire. The kingdom was ruled by kings, notably the Přemyslid and Luxembourg dynasties, and played a key role in European affairs. Over centuries, Bohemia developed a rich cultural identity, with influential cities like Prague, and contributed to art, science, and architecture. It remained an important political entity until it became part of the Habsburg Empire in the 16th century.
