Body Worlds
Body Worlds is a traveling exhibition that showcases real human bodies preserved through a process called plastination. Developed by Dr. Gunther von Hagens, the exhibit allows visitors to explore human anatomy and health by displaying intricately preserved specimens in various poses, including athletic positions, to highlight muscle and organ systems. The aim is to educate the public about the human body, raise awareness about health issues, and promote anatomical understanding. Since its debut in the late 1990s, Body Worlds has sparked interest and discussions about body preservation, ethics, and education in science and medicine.
