bladder control
Bladder control involves a coordinated process between your brain, muscles, and bladder. The bladder is a hollow organ that stores urine, and muscles around it help hold or release urine. When your bladder fills, nerve signals alert your brain, giving you the urge to go. Your brain then decides if it's the right time and place to urinate. To do so, it relaxes some muscles and contracts others, allowing urine to flow out through the urethra. Good bladder control depends on healthy muscle function, proper nerve signaling, and the ability to recognize and respond to these signals appropriately.
