Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC)
The Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) is a regional organization founded in 1992 to foster economic and political stability among countries bordering the Black Sea. Its aim is to promote trade, investment, sustainable development, and collaboration in areas like transportation, energy, and environment. BSEC provides a platform for member states—comprising countries from southeastern Europe, the Caucasus, and parts of Eastern Europe—to coordinate policies, share best practices, and enhance regional connectivity, contributing to stability and economic growth in a geopolitically strategic area.
