Black box systems
A black box system is a process or device where you can see the input and output, but not how it works internally. Think of it like a vending machine: you select a snack (input), press a button, and get the snack (output), but you can't see the inner mechanisms that turn your selection into the snack. In technology and AI, black box systems use complex algorithms whose internal decision-making is not transparent, making it challenging to understand how they arrive at specific results, even though their inputs and outputs are clear.
