Bhils
The Bhils are one of the largest indigenous tribal communities in India, primarily found in the western states, including Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Rajasthan. They have a rich cultural heritage, characterized by distinct traditions, languages, and customs. Traditionally, Bhils were hunter-gatherers and skilled farmers, known for their expertise in agriculture and crafts. Today, many Bhils are engaged in various livelihoods, including labor and small-scale farming. Despite facing challenges such as poverty and social discrimination, efforts are ongoing to improve their living conditions and preserve their cultural identity.
