Bhilali Language

Bhilali is an Indo-Aryan language spoken primarily by the Bhil people in parts of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra in India. It belongs to the larger category of languages spoken by the tribal communities in central India. Bhilali has several dialects and is influenced by neighboring languages like Marathi and Hindi. While largely oral, Bhilali is used in traditional songs, folklore, and local communication. Its speakers often maintain strong cultural identities, and efforts are ongoing to preserve the language amid the dominance of more widely spoken languages in the region.
