Bhaskaracharya, also known as Bhaskara II, was a 12th-century Indian mathematician and astronomer renowned for his significant contributions to mathematics and astronomy. He is best known for his work "Siddhanta Shihara," which includes advances in algebra, arithmetic, and calculus concepts, centuries ahead of his time. He introduced techniques for solving quadratic equations and formulated rules for calculating areas and volumes.
