Bhamashah

Bhamashah was a 16th-century noble and trusted minister of Maharana Pratap of Mewar. He is remembered for his loyalty, administrative skills, and philanthropic efforts. Bhamashah established a financial aid system to support orphans, widows, and the poor, and played a key role in fortifying the kingdom’s economy and military. Today, his legacy continues through the Bhamashah Yojana, a government scheme in Rajasthan that aims to improve welfare, financial inclusion, and social security by providing direct benefits to citizens, reflecting his enduring contribution to social development.
