Besant, Annie

Annie Besant (1847–1933) was a prominent British-born Theosophist, social reformer, and women's rights advocate who moved to India. She dedicated her life to promoting spiritual understanding, education, and social justice. As a leader in the Theosophical Society, she sought to bridge Eastern and Western philosophies.
