Berlin Process
The Berlin Process is a regional effort launched in 2014 to improve integration and cooperation among Western Balkan countries and their European Union (EU) prospects. It aims to facilitate dialogue, build trust, and support reforms necessary for closer ties with the EU. The process organizes high-level meetings to address key issues like security, infrastructure, and governance, helping these nations prepare for potential EU membership. It complements formal accession negotiations by promoting regional stability and cooperation, ultimately encouraging the Western Balkans to meet EU standards and standards that enable successful integration into the European community.
