Bergsonism

Bergsonism is a philosophical approach developed by French thinker Henri Bergson. It emphasizes the importance of time and intuition in understanding life and consciousness, contrasting with rigid, mechanical views of the universe. Bergson believed that human experience is fluid and dynamic, shaped by a creative force he called "élan vital," or vital impetus. He argued that traditional scientific methods often overlook the richness and complexity of lived experience. Instead of viewing time as a series of measurable units, Bergson saw it as a qualitative flow, where genuine understanding comes from deep personal insight rather than mere analysis.
