Bearcat

A bearcat, also known as a binturong, is a large, nocturnal mammal native to Southeast Asia. Despite its name, it is not a bear or a cat; it is part of the viverrid family, which includes civets. Bearcats have thick, shaggy fur, a long, prehensile tail, and are known for their unique, popcorn-like smell. They primarily live in trees and are excellent climbers. Bearcats are omnivorous, feeding on fruits, leaves, and small animals. Their conservation status varies by region, with habitat loss posing significant threats to their populations.
