Batu Caves

Batu Caves is a famous Hindu temple complex located in Malaysia, nestled within a limestone hill. It features a stunning series of caves and tunnels that house shrines and statues dedicated to Lord Murugan, a Hindu deity. A prominent gold-painted statue at the entrance stands 42.7 meters tall, making it one of the largest of its kind. Visitors often climb a steep set of 272 colorful steps to reach the main cave, which contains temples, religious artifacts, and beautiful stalactite formations. Batu Caves is both a cultural landmark and a popular tourist destination, hosting significant festivals like Thaipusam.
