Battle of Noáin

The Battle of Noáin, fought on June 30, 1526, near Pamplona in Spain, was a decisive conflict during the Revolt of the Comuneros. It pitted the Royalist forces loyal to King Charles I against the rebellious city of Pamplona, which supported the rebellious nobles and towns. The royal army, well-equipped and experienced, overwhelmed the defenders in a swift victory, effectively ending the rebellion in that region. The battle demonstrated the military strength of the royal forces and solidified the king’s authority over the rebellious territories in northern Spain.
