Batten Disease Support and Research Association

The Batten Disease Support and Research Association (BDSRA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families affected by Batten disease, a rare and progressive genetic disorder that deteriorates a person’s vision, motor skills, and cognitive functions. BDSRA provides emotional support, education, and advocacy, while also funding research to find better treatments and, ultimately, a cure. They offer resources for families, organize conferences, and promote awareness about Batten disease to improve quality of life for patients and their loved ones.
