Baldwin III of Jerusalem

Baldwin III of Jerusalem was a Crusader king who ruled the Kingdom of Jerusalem from 1143 to 1162. He was the son of King Amalric I and became king at a young age after his father’s death. Baldwin was known for his military skill, successfully defending the kingdom against Muslim forces and expanding its territories. His reign helped strengthen Jerusalem's position during a turbulent period of Crusader history. Despite his relatively short rule, Baldwin III is remembered for his leadership in maintaining the Crusader states amid ongoing conflicts in the Holy Land.
